Signature treatment

The 8 Point Facelift

A non-surgical treatment using dermal fillers, placed across eight carefully chosen points of the face to restore contour and support where volume has been lost. No surgery, no incisions, no general anaesthetic.

This is not surgery

The “8 point facelift” is a widely used name for a non-surgical dermal filler treatment. It does not lift or remove skin the way a surgical facelift does, and it will not produce surgical results. What it can do is restore contour and support to areas that have lost volume, which many clients find gives a refreshed, rested appearance. Results are subtle, temporary and vary from person to person.

How it works

How the eight points are chosen

As we age, the face loses volume and structural support. That change tends to show first in the mid-face and along the jawline, which can read as tiredness or heaviness even when you feel well.

Rather than treating one area in isolation, the 8 point approach assesses the face as a whole. Dermal filler is placed at up to eight points across both sides of the face, working with your natural structure to restore support where it has been lost.

The points typically considered are the cheeks, the tear trough area, the nasolabial folds, the corners of the mouth, the jawline and the chin. Not everyone needs all eight. Your plan is agreed at consultation, and we will only treat what genuinely benefits you.

Suitability

What clients typically come to us for

These are the concerns clients most often raise at consultation. Whether the treatment is right for you is assessed individually.

Mid-face

Flattened cheeks

Volume through the cheekbone and mid-face that softens over time, which can read as tiredness even when you feel well.

Lower face

A softening jawline

Softening definition along the jaw and chin, where the outline of the lower face becomes less distinct.

Face

Deepening folds

Lines running from nose to mouth, and the corners of the mouth, becoming more noticeable over time.

Eyes

Hollowing under the eyes

Shadowing and hollowness in the tear trough area, which is often about facial structure rather than tiredness.

What to expect

From consultation to aftercare

It starts with a private conversation about what you would like to achieve. We review your medical history, assess your face, and if the treatment is not right for you we will say so.

From there we agree which points to treat and what is realistic. Your price is confirmed at that stage, before anything goes ahead, and there is no pressure to book on the day.

The treatment itself is carried out personally by Tricia, with a topical numbing cream for comfort. Most people find it very manageable.

You will leave with written aftercare advice and a direct line to us. We would always rather you asked than worried.

Adults aged 18+ only. Prices are confirmed at consultation, once we have agreed the right plan for you.

Being straight with you about results and risks

Dermal filler treatments carry risks, as all injectable treatments do. Swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness are common in the first few days. Less commonly, lumps, asymmetry, infection or vascular complications can occur. These are discussed properly at your consultation, and Tricia is trained to manage them.

Results are temporary and gradually soften over time. How long they last varies considerably depending on the product, the areas treated, your skin and your lifestyle, so we avoid quoting a single figure that may not apply to you.

We will never promise you a specific outcome, and we would rather turn away a booking than carry out a treatment we do not believe will serve you well.

Questions

8 Point Facelift, answered

Is the 8 point facelift the same as a surgical facelift?

No. Despite the name, it is a non-surgical treatment using dermal fillers. There are no incisions, no general anaesthetic and no surgery. It works by restoring contour and support rather than by removing or repositioning skin, so the results are different from, and more subtle than, surgery.

What are the eight points?

The eight points are treatment areas assessed across both sides of the face, typically including the cheeks, tear trough area, nasolabial folds, jawline, chin and corners of the mouth. The exact points are decided at your consultation based on your face, and not everyone needs all eight.

How long do the results last?

Results vary considerably from person to person depending on the product used, the areas treated, your skin and your lifestyle. Dermal filler results are temporary and gradually soften over time. We will discuss what is realistic for you at your consultation.

Is there any downtime?

Most people return to their day soon afterwards. Swelling, redness, tenderness and bruising are common in the first few days and settle. We provide full aftercare advice and are available if you have any concerns.

Is it suitable for everyone?

No. The treatment is for adults aged 18 and over and is not suitable for everyone. Suitability is assessed individually at consultation, taking your health, medical history and goals into account. We will tell you honestly if we do not think it is right for you.

How much does it cost?

Because the number of points treated varies from person to person, we confirm your price at consultation once we have agreed your plan. There is never any pressure to book on the day.
